We are happy for many fans of good games news that the guys from Australia broke the same PS3, and now this game console can run unlicensed discs and disc images. Naturally, Sony Corporation could not leave such an incident without attention, and tried as quickly as possible to prevent the threat. It seems that this company has (at least for now). In general, the company turned to the courts and the authorities have to meet – selling USB-dongle PS Jailbreak at the time stopped.

Almost immediately at the sites of retailers, there were reports that the dongle is not for sale. However, detailed characteristics of goods sold so far remain virtually all sites retailers, including Quantronics. In addition to the characteristics, site of the same Quantronics, is the largest retailer of the product, posted a message that includes the following notice that the company will not:

1. Import PS Jailbreak;
2. Spread PS Jailbreak;
3. Suggest PS Jailbreak for sale;
4. To third parties;
5. Any other way to work with the product;

However, at the same site hosted message that the sale would resume on Aug. 31, 2010. Apparently, it was up to this number, operates a ban on the sale dongle, issued by the Australian authorities.

Interestingly, the site PSJailbreak.com no mention in their pages on the Prohibition of distribution of PS Jailbreak, it still displays the address of retailers around the world. For fun, I went to the site of the American retailer, posted a message there that the dongle is not yet on sale, but “Monday should reach a large consignment of goods.

In general, it appears that Sony will last long with its ban. So far, the company managed to halt the sale of goods, but such things are unlikely to be eliminated – if the PS Jailbreak will not be sold legally, then a week later this dongle will appear in the niche of pirated shops (perhaps under a different name). In addition, there are rumors that domestic hackers could hack the firmware PS3, and their device is not 170 USD (but again, this is only speculation, I saw a couple of messages on the forums). It may be that the product is domestic masters – just “duck”.
