Nintendo will not provide hardware support to the NES

Nintendo follows in the footsteps of Sega, who once fully withdraw its technical support to the Dreamcast died, leaving to provide services and care for their older media.

Starting next November, Nintendo Co., Ltd. will not provide hardware support to the NES, its first console, which will be officially dead, after being in the market since 1983. In addition, the company will not repair the Super NES, Nintendo 64, Game Boy and Game Boy Pocket.

It appears that the output of the Virtual Console for Wii, where you can play your old games consoles, is hastening the end of the classic machines.
