Sega Europe announces the launch of Football Manager Live, a new title massively multiplayer online (MMO) developed by Sports Interactive. With a launch planned for spring 2008, Football Manager Live has its roots in the critically acclaimed Football Manager, but has been designed specifically as a MMO.

Football Manager Live is a new concept in football management and allows us to create our own team and compete against online opponentsto prove once and for all who the better manager. It is the definitive test of football management skills, allowing us to create and participate in mini-leagues amongst our friends, bid in player auctions and compete in live matches 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Matches take place in real time, with a wide range of tactical options at our disposal to thwart the strategy of our opponents. In addition, the chat option implemented in the game can exchange comments and learn from our competitors.

Users will have complete control over its clubs. We will start by creating our team – from choosing the name, colors and shield, until the location and capacity of the stadium, through the financial details involved managing a team of professional football.
