The new chapter of the Wipeout series announced PS Life is shown in new pictures today, some artwork and the trailer at E3 2011 just ended.

Wipeout 2048 bring on the new Sony the same appeal to the historical saga of racing on futuristic birth PSOne but added some new material related to the functionality of the console. The new control system (optional) will use the touch screen to activate power-ups and the gyro to drive the vehicle.

Additionally, the camera can be used to unlock new ships in augmented reality, and you can compete with PS3 users Wipeout HD with the all-new multiplayer features CrossPlay. But the news does not end there: Wipeout 2048 it also will include 10 new tracks, 20 new vehicles and a remixed soundtrack.

The game, developed by Studio Liverpool, Does not have an official date, but always intended to become one of the launch titles of PS Life.
