The zombies of Capcom will continue dragging their putrid skins outside the game, after the unfortunate film trilogy orchestrated by Paul Anderson and Milla Jovovich.

From Japan comes the announcement by Capcom and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan Biohazard: Degeneration, a digital animation film to be fully realized in three dimensions, much like Final Fantasy: Advent Children.

Nothing is known about the project, nor on what will be the protagonists, but the film has entered the production phase and is expected to premiere next year 2008. If degeneration live up to its name and degeneration will depend on the Paul Anderson is involved in the project, or for once, Capcom does things properly and to hire a director who knows the meaning of the word script and story, instead of plagiarism and boredom.
